PROJECTS
WTC
Coastal Environmental Group is currently instrumental in the clean up of the former site of the World Trade Center, performing such critical duties as stripping lead off the steel beams before removal and asbestos and fireproofing abatement. We are proud to be one of the few contractor’s selected to help restore this historic site.
In the aftermath of devastating Hurricane Katrina, progress is being made to restore the glory of New Orleans. Coastal Environmental Group is hard at work removing dangerous and hazardous materials from the homes destroyed. Before these homes can be razed and rebuilt, we are in the process of removing abandoned firearms and ammunition, mercury switches, household chemicals and other materials, which may contaminate waterways, soil or endanger demolition workers.
Con-Ed

In a complex operation, we had to drill H-pile 38 feet into the ground, construct a sufficient lagging system, underpin the single-story warehouse, and then remove the remainder of the contaminated soil. Only a company with the experience, knowledge and technical ability of Coastal Environmental Group is able to perform such a sensitive course of action.
